Hi, I’m using a spv m500 and wanted to know if there is a way to change were ActiveSync syncs “Files synchronization” with the pc so it syncs with the and not the phone. I’m hoping for a registry change rather then another software…

I think you missed a key word in that sentence.

I stumbled across a tool last night that lets you choose any folder on the phone to sync to (I think, didn't actually try it).

If that's what you mean I'll try and dig out a link

What I meant was you said:

So I wasn't sure about what you wanted to sync with, I'm guessing you mean the SD card.

This is actually an interesting one because there are several options

Have a read of this page, but read it all cos there are various different methods of achieving it in the replies posted.

In case the link goes the basic suggestions are:

- Registry editing on the PPC and the PC AFAICT, read more here

- MobSync, which I found to be a bit flaky, and runs alongside ActiveSync here
