Guest gracie Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Got my M500 on monday and successfully spent the day experimenting and playing without problems. Throughout the day I had tried my 1gb SD Card, 1gb miniSD with adaptor and a 256mb SD all worked fine. One day later only the 256mb card works and the other cards are not recognized despite initially asking if i would like to format the card to make it readable, I have formatted them several times on my PC but this does not help. Is there a PC based repair utility that anybody knows of that could help.
Guest bretto Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 Did the 1Gb cards really work? I mean could you copy stuff to and from them because some of us have had problems with faster cards on the Jam.

Guest mavisdavis Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 gracie, place your sd card in the reader and goto My Computer. choose the removable storage drive and R/click & select properties. Then choose tools and select Errors Checking and tick both boxes. Now for my 1gb Mini SD card this operation took a good 5 mins but all was well and good after that. It even worked on my 512 that I thought I had had fried last year so Now Ive got loads of memory. Hope this helps :o
