Synching tasks between two PCs

I've got my MPX220 synching two different PCs, and for the most part, it does what I want it to do. With tasks, however, it's a godawful mess. Particularly with regard to recurring tasks. I'll have completed, for example, this week's instance of the task, but then when I sync to the phone, and then to the other PC, it'll come up with the an instance from about two months ago being the last one completed.

It's particularly nasty, and there seems to be no good way to work around it, except not use recurring tasks, and that's not a particularly elegant (or useful) solution. Re-editing all the recurring tasks after a sync is the brute force method, and that's not great, either.

Has anyone else had this problem? Found a workaround? Would Oxios ToDo List be a better vehicle for this kind of synchronization?

Good lord, six months, and noone else has this problem? I know I'm unique and all, but this is ridiculous...
