QTEK S110 battery life: sheesh!

My QTEK S110 battery life absolutely sucks. The phone goes from full to empty in 11 hours. Yesterday, this involved about 5 mins of phone calls, 1 hour MP3 play and the rest on standby. This is the worst battery life I've seen since I started using MS Smartphones back with the first Orange Smartphone.

I have my light level turned right down and the back light times out after a few mins. I'm thinking that the early ROM levels kill the battery.

Much more of this and the phone goes back!

Anyone else seeing this kind of naff battery life on their S1n0, Jam, etc?

Thanks,

Jonathan

I got an S100 and it'll last for a couple of days when used a phone - a good day when MP3'ing and about 6 hours when SatNav'ing

I can watch videos till i'm bored and still not sweat about being near a charger...

I will admit that the SatNav to BT connection is a bit too thirsty but i can charge it in the car.

Have you got BT on all the time? is your 'Recieve Incoming Beams' box ticked?

My mates got a S110 and said he's only charged it twice in 3days with heavy usage, My bateery is on charge where ever I am. I have chargers everywhere so i cant coment on my M500. Ive never charged it out the box for 18hrs like whats recomended as Ive never read the manuals :o

If I were you I'd get it sent back asap mate as it does sound a bit dodgy

Definitely sounds like a lemon. I get 3-4 days on standby. I went camping a couple of weeks back and I got 2 and a bit days usage including phone calls, texting, data usage (browsing/email), ebook reading and games. I would definitely suggest a replacement.

Heh: I don't even have BT enabled!

New battery ordered... lets see if that fixes it.
