Guest Deano440 Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 have a look at this!! Pioneer bluetooth headunit. Has anyone tried this headunit or any other bluetooth enabled one with an M2000 or any window based mobile, if so did you have any problems pairing, and how was the sound quality?? Me and a mate were saying the other day about how good it would be have a bluetooth enabled headunit... I didn't realise until today that they'd made one!!!
Guest fraser Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 That is a nice piece of kit!! Looking forward to hearing about the first person who tries it with the blue angel. I'm not all that up to speed on BT. Could you be listening on BT headphones, then enter the car and have the BT play over the stereo? I've been considering doing that sort of thing using a wired dock connection in a DIY setup, essentially replacing the headunit entirely with the phone hooked up to an amp. Saves removing the headunit facia all the time (e.g. with my current mp3 player), instead I'll be taking the phone with me so it makes sense to combine them. You'd need to make sure this headunit supports BT stereo audio; "handsfree" is different and unsuitable for playing music.
Guest scottt Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Would this work if your phone was paired to a bluetooth gps unit e.g can you pair the phone to more than one device at a time ? There is some head units that use sd card and will record the radio onto it http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/woodstock_dab54.asp
