Help Required with ActiveSync

Hi all,

The power button failed on my SPV-C500 yesterday, and Orange have provided me with a replacement handset. However, no matter what I try, I cannot pair it with my laptop, despite having had a perfect pairing with my previous phone.

I've tried removing and reinstalling ActiveSync, but have had no joy. It just won't recognise the handset. The cable is fine, and the phone is charging. From the File menu on my pc, I only have the 'Get Connected' option available.

I'm running XP Pro SP2 with ActiveSync 3.8. My phone has the current rom (4.2.1.1).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
