O2 XphoneII - why not in the UK?

I already have the imate sp3 (on O2) and want to upgrade to the XphoneII. I've emailed O2 and called there sales desk and they think i' mad and have they have never heard of the Xphone - i've even sent them the link from their seeo2.com website.

does anyone know if it will be available in the UK?

surely O2 can see the success Orange have had with their SPC C500 and now C550.

i'm included to get the C550 and get it unlocked......... - a more expensive option than a free upgrade though........

come on O2 UK, get some decent phones..........

Very good question although probably one that would be best put to O2 UK.

For some reason O2 has not released any of the XPhone incarnations over here...
