Unlock free mpx220?

I don't know if it will work for sure, but try this:

Search the net for the Motorola Offline Updater tool for the mpX220.

Then search and download any MPx220 firmware

Then follow the instructions of the updater, and make the upgrade.

Maybe it will then be unlocked.

Try it and let me know what you did.

It won't. Flashing the ROM doesn't effect the SIM lock at all. The majority of MPx220s are SIM unlocked out of the box, so make sure it isn't already. If you are certain it isn't, there are no free unlock methods. Sorry. Go to www.imei-check.co.uk to get it unlocked, that is one of the best places, and I don't think there are any cheaper.

ya make sure it isnt already unlocked, cuz like mine, it came unlocked from the factory.
