spv c550 unlock error message

Hi

What a useful forum...enough of the compliments...please can you help? I,ve downloaded the SPV Developers unlock software, application unlocked the phone (orange spv c550 )and edited the 0001001 and 0001005 values in the reg BUT when I try to unlock the phone, it passes the initial screen but when I click unlock it returns an error..." unknown error - 2147467259 in read operation " ..any thoughts would be most welcome.

did you copy the cert.cab file to ya fone first?????

That,s worked a treat...I had copied the cert.cab file to the phone but before I,d application unlocked it....so the correct order of business is :-

1...application unlock phone, either from Orange website or by editing the registry.

2..copy cert.cab file to phone and installing it.

3..run Spv-Developers unlock software.
