How to disable word suggestion in edit line

Hello, I need to disable the word suggestion (small popup listbox) in

editline (in 123 mode or in all modes except T9). Is it possible to disable

it somewhere in phone settings (and is it posible to disable it

programatically for given edit line)? Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

You can turn off Word completion completly but not for everything except T9 AFAIK.

What phone are you talking about? The T9 implementation varies on each phone.

You could either edit the offending number out of the dictionary (on all phones except C500) or not let other people use your phone or post details of exactly what you ar trying to achieve and maybe someone can come up with a solution.
