Goto:

Settings/Phone/Call Options

this should give you the ability to put the numbers in.

Hope this helps.

nevawlkalone, i am constantly finding your pigeon English VERY annoying and it only confuses other users of the group (including non-English users) In future can you please construct your replies with the correct English so that all users can understand you.

Thanks!

Your reply to the above request does not help.

please do not type in slang/txt speech. using ne, av and yo etc is not dyslexia it is lazy txt speech and not down to your keyboard either.

As explained above, we have a lot of members who do not use English as their first language and posting in this manner only helps to confuse people.

Anyway back to the problem at hand.

From what I understand in the US some networks charge you for recieving sms which is a con in my opinion.

For recieving sms you should not need to set up a gprs deal etc.

All you should need to do is enter the outgoing sms service number in Settings\Phone\Call Options.

A few questions to clarify:

Was there ever a time when you were able to send/receive SMS?

If so, has there been anything out of the ordinary (like a ROM upgrade) between then and the time you started having problems with your SMS? I briefly experienced that when I installed an Orange ROM upgrade. It changed all my settings to Orange's network settings, hence I've had to reconfigure the phone to my local network settings.

If not, if you have had the SMS problem since you got your phone, maybe it's a unit problem. Have someone (preferably the establishment that you procured the unit from) take a look at it and run some diagnostics.
