tomtom and M2000

Please can u help i have just taken delivery of my nice new m2000 and put tomtom navigator 5 on it. When i come to input the postcode i can't put numbers in because a funny little symbol comes up when i press the function button. is anyone else having or had similar problems? :?: :roll:

Andy, I had exactly the same problem and it was acknowledged by Tomtom. Good news is - they have posted an upgrade to Tomtom 5 on the website (www.tomtom.com) which solves the problem. Their site has been down quite a bit recently so you may have some problems accessing it.
