SMT 5600 LED Indicator

All, I have a new, unlocked SMT 5600. The only issue I have found is that the LED Indicator light does not illuminate and I cannot find out how to turn it on.

If you are looking at the phone's screen, you will see the LED above the display, on the left side.

are you recieving service? does your operator show up on the phone?

if it does.. have you tried another SIM?

does the light appear as soon as you switch on the phone when its booting up?

if no then could just be the LED light bulb gone! :o

The phone works and functions fine... I dont know why a new phone would not show the light. =\
