Guest cs0jbo Posted September 15, 2005 Report Posted September 15, 2005 Hello all, Have been trawling through the forum to see if anyone else has had this problem to no avail - perhaps a kind soul could help? I have an SPV M500 and a bluespoon AX headset. When I first paired the two I could switch the headset off/switch off bluetooth on the M500 and when turning them back on again and clicking the "call" button on the headset they would communicate and initialise the heasdset profile. Unfortunately after I had to do my first hard reset, the M500 will not recognise the headset unless I delete and re-pair the AX (entering the passkey, etc). I have tried a soft reset since, with no effect, and wondered if anyone had any ideas? Thanks!
Guest richard_hogg Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 Have you performed a reset on the headset too. I had a similar problem pairing a headset with my phone after I'd used it on another phone. Reset of the headset fixed it.
Guest mcwarre Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 Reset on the headset? That's a new one on me................. :o
Guest cs0jbo Posted September 19, 2005 Report Posted September 19, 2005 Hi there, and thanks for the suggestions - I think I know what Rich meant - On reading the destructions I realised that I hadn't performed the full "red and blue flashing lights" re-pairing, which might be what was missing. The headset is still messing around now, but I think it's because I both paired it with my PC and its running out of juice. The poor wee thing is just knackered I think... another example of bluetooth being a bit sketchy in my experience unfortunately!
