XML - MRU Plugin and Positioning

okay, been fiddling with XML files a bit lately and pretty much getting my head around it but theres just 2 questions :

1) How do you work out the positioning of the time/date/carrier/profile etc (as in the x,y,w and h values)

2) How do you put the MRU plugin on a c550 background i cant seem to get it workin :x
