c550 orange branding

I have done several seaches and cant work out how to loose all orange branding ie:

1. Orange wording at the top of the screen when you make a call

2. The start up orange screen

section there is some customisation info but i am looking for a non orange rom.. sure one will apear on qtek or imate's ftp's at some point!

I think I can help you if you are using T-Mobile or Cingulair services as I have gif files only for these 2 carriers. It requires registry tweak and I have a zipped file which has instructions and requires files needed to get the job done. I can't post it here (don't want to take lot of web page space here). if you are interested, send me your email address and I'll send you the file.

Note: If you are using some other carrier, I can still help you with the process but you will have to find carrier logo yourself..
