Guest vietpunk916 Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 Ok im gettn real fed up with my mpx200 battery life lol. I barely use it once an hour everyday for only like 2-3 mins convo (business) and at the end of the day *around 8-9ish pm* it has 1-2 bars left. What the hell? Is there a battery upgrade for this phone? Is is better for me to buy an extra OEM battery or should i just unlock the phone and go Win v.2003 with this phone? Will it affect anything? Please help me out with this phone. Dont get me wrong but i LOVE this phone because i watch family guy, simpsons, inuyasha episodes on my phone and have tons of mp3. EVEN though i dont watch those the battery still drains... help?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 Changin the OS will not improve the battery life. With the battery it is best to fully charge the phone then do a hard reset. This will give you the best battery life.

You should consider yourself lucky you can get through an entire day w/out it dying. Is it that hard to charge it nightly? That's what I do and I don't mind a bit. There are many people who can't get through a whole day with the battery they have so you shouldn't complain.
Guest vietpunk916 Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 lol i just get fed up some times because of that warning.. and like that 90 percent BACKup battery is gonna help lol what a joke.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I would expect the battery to last 2-3 days with little use. One thing though, how many hours is "once an hour" as these 3 minutes etc will add up.
