I have an Orange SPV-C500, is new I have bought it before 2 months. It so happened I was surfing on the internet, after several minutes my screan becomed dark and the keyboard stops working (my english I know, sorry. ..) not even the power-off button (but the green led was blinking) so I have got to take out the battery. After I turn my phone on everything was set to deafult, my programs were deleted, all settings were reset to manufacturer deafult  !!!!!!

What's up with him?Is this a softwer proplem, should I update it, or it is more serious hardwer problem????

well if you got it 2 months ago it should be equipped with the latest ROM

did it ever happen again? if not it could be a one off

however if it happens again then its a faulty handset, best phone orange if it happens again

it has nothing to do with the OS (Windows Mobile)... it will be the handset itself doing it if it happens again :o

Sounds like you have suffered the dreaded 'partial reset' and you should consider performing a full hard reset in case anything has been corrupted.

What has probably happened is that you have either let the battery run too low or have filled up the phone memory. In the latter case, keep ringtones and homescreens to a minimum and clear out your old messages.
