WMP 10 network playback?

Has anyone actually got this working?

I am trying to play a file on my PC from my SPV's WMP 10. It is activesynced but I cannot seem to play a network file on my WMP 10 on my C500.

I also cannot seem to find instructions. I am trying everything I can in the "open url":

file:///compname/filename.ext

http://compname:port/filename.ext

\\compname\filename.ext

\\compname\drive\filename.ext

tcp://compname:port/filename.ext

compname\filename.ext

compname\drive\filename.ext

what is the command/syntax to open a file which is on your computer FROM the SPV WMP10?

it should be \\ComputerName\Drive Name when shared\Link

However i doubt if this will work ever lol

just tryed making a playlist that linked to a music resource and it wont work due to phone not being on the network, its classed as a smartphone not a workstation..

unless there is another way..
