Cabs & Friendly SPV sites...

I'm wondering, what is it exactly that does, that on some homepages you can link to a cabfile, and your IE explorer will pick up the cab fine, but your SPV will read it as weird scrambled text!?

I'm taking it's some weird setting that's not available on some hosting sites, but what exactly is it, so I can tell my host to add it!!

you need to get the lovely hosts to add

AddType application/x-tar .cab

to your sites httpd.conf or .htaccess
