Bluetooth car kit feedback

*sheepish wave* I'm a new member, live in the states...Atlanta, GA to be exact. I've been creeping around these forums learning about my latest gadget. I just purchased an Audiovox SMT 5600 (HTC Typhoon, C500, etc.) and am so far enjoying it, save one little problem. I upgraded from a nokia 6230, for which I had Nokia's Advanced Car Kit (bluetooth capable, but I always used the hang up cup w/ RF adapter). The kit works fine in bluetooth mode with my nokia, but I get a nasty feedback when I use it with the smartphone. It happens both on my end and the caller's end, its like you hear yourself with a 3/4 to 1 second delay. Any ideas? Tweaks or driver updates maybe?
