Hmmmm. *kinda* inclined to agree - the different shades of silver make it look a bit odd - the top, middle and bottom from a side view all being slightly different colours. I also think there's the optical illusion of it looking a bit wider...a phone only it's father could love eh?

I didn't have my fibreglass pencil to hand but will update the pics once I've removed that nasty orange logo....

Since I've seen the pictures of the all black C500, I've been meaning to ask you where you got the cover for it ?

On the original C500 there is a silver line as you know, did you just paint it or what ?

its the oposite part of a silver one... the silver part on the black phone is a black part on the silver one :o

Ahaa, I see..

But then again, where is it possible to find a silver C500, I have never seen it...

And is it possible to find only the covers ?

I've been looking for some way to modify my C500 for quite some time now, but I cant seem to find any covers to experiment with :(

Orange supplied the silver C500 to premier customers. I got one in exchange for a black SPV when I joined premier then had it swopped out as faulty ( they took a lot of convincing though :(

I have a couple of used silver fascias that will be on ebay soon, but no other 'silver' parts ie, no more black chassis, no silver aeriel covers and no silver battery covers. I don't seem to be able to find these *anywhere* other than on damaged donor phones :cry:

As for black phone spares, I've listed a load on ebay here in case you want parts.

The silver phone doesn't look as good as the black, if you're thinking of doing one, I'd try spray painting all the parts to match the silver colours up correctly, the more i look at at, the more odd it seems.....

The black power button is from a silver face, they are not part of the chassis. I'll bear you in mind for a black chassis if I get any spare.
