my Eten m500 ran out of power, for two days , in a way that when I started to recharging itt, after I switch it, the system booted and started restoring the files from my SD, it seems every thing is ok, I left it on the table and went out, since it will take some time, mean while there was a electricity cutout , meaning that my M500 switched of in middle of restore.

and now I have a curapted system, I can switch it but many files are missed and the most important thing is the restore utility , I have the backup file, but how can I restore it.

please help

bye :o

If the backup file is on an sd card, you should have no problem.

Hard-reset your M500. Hold the power button, and with the stylus press the reset button at the time time. It'll come back to factory settings.

Then, open the backup program, and restore the backup on your sd card. should work.

give me a pm if you have any trouble with that, i've done several resets/restores. And by the way, i find an activesync (if you use it) backup seems much more complete than the sd one.

Whatever you do, don't do another backup and replace the file you currently have on the sd card.
