Guest 1T-M0nk3y Posted September 19, 2005 Report Posted September 19, 2005 My contract with Orange is due to end in a couple of weeks and the biggest problem I had with my C500 is that I could only get my work e-mail whilst my phone was cabled to a PC or I had to pay extortionate amounts of money to get loads of garbage sent to my phone by GPRS All I wanted from my upgrade was WIFI and that is the one thing which a year down the line still isn't available in a phone (as opposed to a PPC which I refuse to hold to my ear and I don't like headsets) I would like a contract smartphone with a (any) UK call provider and WIFI - when can I expect to be able to have this?
Guest Confucious Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 When the C600 is released.
Guest 1T-M0nk3y Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 When the C600 is released. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Allegedly mid-October, but according to a preview on CoolSmartPhone.Com Orange have decided to release a version of Tornado WITHOUT WIFI. Any ideas when one of the other networks are rumoured to release their WIFI enabled Tornado variants, ala Qtek 8300?
Guest 1T-M0nk3y Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 9 Days till the SP5m is due in stock at Expansys :o
Guest Zone-MR Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 9 Days till the SP5m is due in stock at Expansys :o Don't trust expansys! Two times I ordered a product which was due in stock in "2-3 days", and ended up cancelling the order after waiting 6 MONTHS. Expansys tends to list overly optimistic lead times, often claiming they can ship a product before the manufacturer has even announced a release date - it's an attempt to con people into placing an order with them by pretending to be able to deliver it before anyone else.

Not looking likely, it'a less than a month
