C500 ROM update just aint there!?

Hi,

I've been having problems with my phone for a while now, so I decided to reapply the 4.2.1.1 update that I put on a couple of months ago. Of course I didn't save the original download so I decided to get it again from Orange. The problem is...I just can't find it anywhere! The location is supposed to be

direct download

http://www.orange.co.uk/c500patch/RUU_1.02....2.1.1_Ship.exe

but neither seem to have it.

Now, am I being dumb or have they removed the update?

Sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't find anything.

Try this instead http://www.orange.co.uk/c500patch/ it'll download the 4.2.1.2 patch then.

New rom worked for me - I also have the old one on file if someone has somewhere I can FTP it to?

there is a topic about the new rom update

i wouldnt recommend it as i said in the other topic because orange said (when i asked them this) that it will void the warentee if something goes wrong simply because it is not up on the correct page of the site!

Before running the update again have you tried a hard reset first?

This may fix yiour problems and will be easier and safer to do.
