Which provider and unit?

Recommended Posts

i wouldnt go as far to say that i was desperate... maybe a little though.

i want to know which units you guys use currently out of the above and which providers you have them on. also what problems you've had with the providers and whether you would recommend them or use them again?

i have a company mobile on O2 but never have to handle the bills or sort that side of things out so dont know how they rate against the others.

out of the above i'm leaning towards the M500 and QTek S110 purely on asthetics as i know they are the same unit underneath.

Thanks in advance

Don't quote me on this coz I'm no expert. As far as I'm aware the M500 is the equivalent of the Qtek S100. I opted for the S110 as being a better spec than the M500. Also changed provider from Orange who I've been with since my first mobile phone many many years ago. Can't tell you how the billing compares, haven't been on new tariff for long enough yet.

As an M500 user I do sometimes wich I got an S110 instead.

I seem to have become obsessed with Free RAM stats, even though I've never got anywhere close to running out of memory to run apps.

The M500 also comes with all sorts of gumpf pre-installed (which you can remove, but it *might* mess up other parts of the phone).

An un-branded phone with 128Mb sounds great to me! ;)

U didn't include the MDA III (T-Mobiles version of the Blue Angel) that I've got nor the SPV M1500 (Oranges version of the Alpine) but I'm guessing that's due to size.

I'd personally only recommend the 128meg version Qtek S110 out of that list, but above that I'd recommend the new HTC Wizard which has just been released by T-Mobile as the MDA Vario.

My experience of T-Mobile so far has been excellent aside from once breaking down in Scotland OUTSIDE T-Mobile coverage! I can't complain about my experience with Orange either though...
