i am looking for free mpeg1 downloads and possibly movies that i can download on my phone from my phone does ne one know of any site that i can do this on?

There are a few places that do short video clips but not full movies.

You are better off encoding your own films from DVD to play on the phone. That way you can use divx avi files which can give you better quality.
