Smartphone file corrupted cannot delete or backup

Hi i currently have 3 folders or files or whatever they are on my phone it says they are 315KB each and look like this "@#%^$@#$$#@" really weird huh?

When i try and change the attributes of the files it says cannot change attributes, when tried to delete it cannot delete them aswell so they might be corrupted or the smartphone cannot read them this is on my internal storage space. I tried deleteing them from the PC where the smartphone is connected but still no luck.

I have a O2 Xphone, is there anything i can do to delete these files because i cant even backup my system with sprite backup as it reads these files being 2GB!!!!!!

I was wondering if a hard reset on the O2 Xphone would delete everything and start all over with no corrupted files? Or is there another way of getting rid of these 3 things.

Many Thanks

Where are the files located?

Also try rebooting the phone and see if that helps.

Hi i have tried rebooting the phone several times, it seems like this phone doesnt reconize that these files are even there for some reason, would a hard reset of the O2 Xphone help "will it delete every single file and start all over again?"

Thanks Admon
