Guest Grazz Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 i have seen on one or two message boards that there is a program to over clock the processor speed of the phone. if some one could tell me the name of the program i think that i would spend a better chance of finding the program and maybe overclocking my phone :lol:

Rumor has it that people who have overclocked the phone have made it unstable. As has been discussed in previous places overclocking is unlikely to be a heat sink related issue. In mobile devices clock speed is more often a balance between performance and battery life. Heat sinks are more for desktop pcs where overclocking is mainly a balance between performance and heat/stability.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 Jimmy software ( I think that's the right name) were rumoured to be looking into this but i think the whole idea has now been dismissed as not possible, like spacemonkey said it makes the phone too unstable :lol:
