Guest nevawlkalone Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Is ther any software by which you can test out homescreens and programs that you have created on your pc without having to keep on connecting your c550 and testing it, deleting it rectifying the problem etc and then putting it back and repeaating the process? Please reply back soon as i need this software fairly quickly to test these homescreens n get them online for you all to oogle n use. Cheers M

Cheers M <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe you get a smartphone emultor with the 240x320 res in the visual studio 2005 beta, but it isn't going to be any quicker than testing on your phone. You'll still have to press all the same buttons etc and it will probably not be 100% accurate of what it will look like on your phone. There is no need to delete the xml. Keep your phone connected and what you can do is make the tweaks to it you need (via phone notepad or pc editor) then change to another homescreen, and then back to the xml you just saved over. It will now display the new one. I really would just recommend testing on the phone. :cheesy:
