m500 & parott 3300 gps tomtom3

i have both of these and the bluetooth handsfree works perfectly

i just cannot get tomtom to connect to the gps on the parott

the questions are

1. does tomtom3 work with the spv m500?

2. can the spv m500 connect to the parott for handsfree and gps at the same time? the i-mate jam is listed as working on the parott web site

any help would be appreciated
