How to find what ROM i have...can i upgrade?

I have a SMT5600 I just bought on Ebay. I use it on ATT/Cingular network in Florida, US. I love this phone...My first WinMobile phone. I want to find what ROM version I have and if it safe to upgrade it to the newest one?

Where do I get the new one if applicable?

To find out your rom version info go to Settings / About. If you scroll down the page it'll show the rom version.

From what I've read the Audiovox 5600 hasn't had an update rom released.

The Audiovox rom was ahead of the SPV C500 (the device as branded over here) one anyway as already included Windows Mobile 10, something we only got in a recent update. I would say that it's got to be the one to stick with.

Yes my device does have WM10. I guess it is the modt recent. Thanks for the quick reply.

Any advice on how to re-arrange my Start Menu to have my favorite items come up first on the list?
