If the hard reset didn't work, I don't think you'll be able to save it...as by doing the wm5 not only does it void the warranty, but I read somewhere that it was illegal too. Not sure about the illegal part. But never the less you can get a fair bit for the phone as a good parts phone...the screens are worth about £50.00 (£75.00 from HTC) last time I checked and the screens are HARD to find to get a good one. The case/ facia is worth about another (28.00 from HTC) but the only catch is... to repair a phone and have the warranty still good, you have to buy the parts from HTC, AND let them repair it. Better off getting a cheap phone on ebay with a broken screen, and use your screen and be done with it.

yes IT IS illegal to download the software and installing it

your warrentee is now void and you will have to pay from it with your own money. I cannot stress this enough, nor can the forum admins - DO NOT INSTALL ILLEGAL SOFTWARE OR EVEN DOWNLOAD IT!!!!

this is what you will pay with now... having a phone that does not work and forking out money from your pocket to repair it.

ONLY mvp's can have access to such software LEGALLY from LEGAL places (which will not be disclosed).

as to usdiver - he is talking about the phone not booting up - not the actual physical screen crash :o hehe
