Windows Media Player 10 on C500

Hi guys

I am debating whether it is worth me doing the upgrade on my C500 so i can get windows media 10 and some other stuff

where can i get the download from safely bcos i thought i read on here a while a back (may be wrong) about orange site download not working or something??

is it safe to use it now?

Also more of a specific question about windows media 10 on the C500

does it finally give you a similar layout like the pc version so i can browse my music from my storage card by album artist etc. instead of having a long list of all my music like i do on my current version of windows media player on the C500

I have just downloaded it on to my phone through the Orange website and it all seems to be working fine.

Windows media 10 i have not used it yet so i cant answer that one.

Yes Windows Media Player (10) after the update will have a library feature which allows you to search through the music/videos on your phone/storage card. I've been quite impressed with the improvement over the old player. In particular I love having album art which syncs fine for me...

i will have to get round to updating by the sounds of it

will it only show albums artist etc. if i sync with media player or can i drag and drop the files and they will still show up in the same way on the phone media player??

That is correct.

You've got a bit of extra work to do reinstalling everything but you do get a nice clean phone memory to work with :o
