Is it worth updating to c550 or waiting for the c600

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hi, I was using a E100, E200 and now on C500. I checked and read a lot of reviews about C550 and C600. I went to the shop to have a look at the C550 finding it very nicely made phone! Buttons, good joystick and it uses the 2003 special edition OS. With the C600, its nice and that but I read that Microsoft isn't behind the Windows Mobile 5 and that it is some third party company! If that is true it will cause a problem with other apps which are already there!

End of the day, its your choice! For me, I will go for the C550 now, can't wait! With the C600, main difference is the apperance.

There are numerous posts on this topic already, so do a search for some of those. :o

I have a C500 and am looking to upgrade but there is nothing catching my eye at the moment.

The C550 has a better screen and camera which I would like, but there is not much more that attracts me to it.

I am reading with interest the stories about the C600 but still there does not seem to be any ground breaking advances on this model.

I think I will just stick with the C500 which I love even though it has a cracked screen and scratched facia.

Sorry for the off topic but.....

Mine was not that simple.

I was using the very un-user friendly earphones. Took them out (before they fell out) to go for a swim and tucked them and phone under my towel on my sunlounger in Turkey (big gprs bill).

When I got back I forgot they were there and sat on the towel on top of the phone on top of the earphones which were against the screeen haha.

Eh? Microsoft is as much responsible for Windows Mobile 5 as it was for Windows Mobile 2003 and Windows Mobile Second Edition as far as I've heard...
