Guest heavylint Posted September 23, 2005 Report Posted September 23, 2005 (edited) This is a utility that opens Pocket Streets 2005 pushpin files and allows you access to Latitude and Longitude information. You can also create a manual pushpin using GPS coordinates for off road or other locations that cannot be pinned through Pocket Streets. Enjoy! ** UPDATE 1 ** - Added pin creation by "importing" Geocache (.LOC) or Google Earth (.KML) files ** UPDATE 2 ** - Minor bug fixes - Added pin creation by "reading" current location from (PS supported) GPS device ** UPDATE 3 ** ( Final feature update ) - Inital pin file folder taken from PS DOWNLOAD: GPSPins_SMP.ARMV4.CAB Edited September 29, 2005 by heavylint
Guest heavylint Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 Some GPSPins usage notes: 1- If you have a map open in PS (that has pushpins) and you make changes to the pin file with GPSPins, reloading or changing maps in PS will overwrite your changes. This is because PS writes the pin file before closing a map. Just make sure the map associated with the pin file are changing with GPSPins is not open in PS at the same time. 2- If you are having trouble with the Bluetooth GPS feature, just configure and get your device working in Pocket Streets first. Note: Only one application can access the device at a time. Enjoy!
