Numerous video questions for a new 220 user

Hi, I have a lot of little questions that I've been trying to figure out. I've done some searching so if there is already info on this please point me in the right direction.

1. Does everyone use the stock windows media player to watch all videos, and if not what do you use?

2. Can Windows media handle full movies of episodes of shows?

3.What does everyone use to listen to music, windows media again?

4. What different kinds of files are supported by the mpx?

5. What free program can I use to resize pics to go on my interior and exterior displays?

6. There are a ton of downloads on this site. Where can I find instructions of how to get them to work? (games, apps)

All I use is the Windows Media Player. By using Windows Movie Maker I convert all the videos I have to .WMV format. Saves alot of space and runs clean. I have put full movies and some South Park episodes and watched them on long trips without a problem.

For music, same thing. I just convert them to .WMA files way smaller then MP3s and WAVs.

I've tried the DIVX player for smartphone but couldn't get it to work the first few tries so I just stick with Windows Media Player.

For all those downloads and instructions just do a search and you'll find what you're looking for. Especially on this website.

1) I use BetaPlayer

2) Never tried

3) I use the Windows Media

4) In terms of media; BetaPlayer allows you to watch/listen to virtually all file types

5) IrFan View is a freeware and allows you to adjust picture dimensions
