Activesync question

Hello everyone.

Whenever I connect my C500 to activesync, before it syncs a Microsoft LDAP directory box appears 3 times.

The info displayed within these boxes is:

Server name: NULL

Port: 3268

User name: NULL

Password: (blank)

On each of the 3 occasions I just click on OK and then the phone starts to sync?!

Any ideas what it is?

Hi,

This happens as soon as I connect my C500 to the pc and active sync opens up. I'm not actually trying to sync anything.

Start->Activsync->Menu->options->Server Settings

The check boxes in options 1 to 3 should NOT be checked. Are they?

Just looked, their not "checked" no.

I don't know much about Exchange but Port: 3268 isthe TCPIP port it uses so it looks like your phone is trying to connect to an exchange server. The fact that you get the error message 3 times made me think that the 3 check boxes might be ticked. Try looking under all the settings and deleting anything referying to synching with a remote PC or server.
