HI

IM TRYING TO REMOVE THE SECURITY CERTIFICATE ON MY GIRLFRIENDS SPV C500. IVE TRIED THE ORANGE WAYS

BOTH ONLINE AND BY DOWNLOADING THE REGISER FILE BUT KEEPS SAYING IT CANT FIND MY IMEI NUMBER.

WHEN I DECERTED MY C550 I WAS GIVEN A REGISTRY EDIT TO DO IT WITH.

IS THERE ONE FOR THE C500?

You can still use the orange developers site to application unlock your phone. What you need to do is install the action register appllication which you get from the developers site.

hi there. i already tried the action file and that doesnt work either. i get the same error. does anyone know of the registry edit?

On the Orange Developers site you have the option of sending them an email if your IMEI isn't registered. They will then send you a personalised unlock utility.

There is no registry hack that I'm aware of.
