BT headset, voice dialing and locked keypad

Hello all,

Free upgrade is coiming around again soon and i am thinking of going from my c500 to the c550 (good idea?). Anyway i have got a parrot ck3000 in my car and i was wondering if the c550 has got the same 'design feature' as the c500 where when the keypad is locked you cannot activate voice dialing properly?

Any info would be much help

Voice dialing on the 550 works with / without the keypad locked, via a BT headset. I recall a thread somewhere discussing the ins-and-outs of the Parrot system so it might be worth you while doing a search.

Most on the forum, I'm sure, would suggest you hang on to your 'free upgrade' until the 600 is launched. The 550 was quite a change from my old E200 but, apart from the screen, it's not a whole lot different from the 500.

OMG! Thanks very much for the info. I cant believe that they have actually listened to us and fix that dumb feature.
