M500 Missed Calls & Answerphone icons

Hi,

Another quick query. My wife has an M500 but doesn't seem to get anything displayed to show she has missed calls or that she has an answerphone message.

Does anyone know what is supposed to be displayed? On the top left of the display she has a red phone icon but tapping on it just takes you to the phone application to make a call.

She is getting fed up missing calls & not knowing she has missed them or has a message.

Anyone help, please?

You're right, you're taken back to the phone application, but from there you can click "Call History" and see who's called.

Shame it doesn't take you straight there like it did on the C500. I can't see the reason for the extra step. If there's a fix, I'd love to know what it is.

On the S110 on orange you get a little phone symbol with an exclamation mark when you miss a call (same as the c500). Hitting this icon goes into missed calls. Answerphone gives the little tape icon. Is the M500 different?

No, it's the same, just that when you click the phone symbol with an exclamation you get the choice to view or close. Clicking view takes you to the missed calls screen.

So what you're both saying is that for missed calls she should get a phone with an exclamation mark next to it (same as C500) and for answerphone messages the tape icon should come up.

She gets neither, just a permanently displayed red phone icon.

Looks like a call to orange could be in order
