mpx 200 *.mid problem...

my mpx200 has a broblem on playing midi files... i have copied lots of midi tunes in my storage card and some of them don't play at all(phone says "now playing" but i don't hear anything), some of them play really loud (very loud, speaker screams...) and their volume is not adjustable, and some pop out tha error message... does the specific phone have a problem with midi files or is it just mine? please help... :shock:

The MPx200 will only play MID0 format files and not MID1 or MID2 etc.

That is the only problem I'm aware of.

You can find free converters with a quick Google but it's not usually worth the bother as the quality will typically be terrible !

If you have a program like cubase VST or cakewalk, then load the midi's into this, and save as midi type 0 files.. you may also want to use the channel volume editors on each of the polyphonic channels before you save them too this will allow you to play with the volumes..

This method works fine for me, althogh somtimes it is a little fiddly to get the correct volume levels.
