Handmark® Pocket Express™ to Support Palm’s Upcoming Windows Mobile-based Treo Smartphones

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (27 SEPTEMBER 2005) — Handmark®, a global leader in mobile media, today announced that its Award-Winning Pocket Express™ wireless information bundle and top-selling entertainment brands will be available for Palm, Inc.’s future line of Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Palm® Treo™ smartphones, the first of which is scheduled to be available to Verizon Wireless customers in early 2006.

The Pocket Express news and information bundle will deliver news, stocks, weather, sports, directory search, movie news and listings, and maps and driving directions automatically and on demand to Windows Mobile-based Treo smartphones.(1) Winner of the DEMOgod™ award at the prestigious DEMOmobile wireless/technology industry showcase and a Codie awards finalist, Pocket Express provides subscribers with the information they need on the go. The newly released version 2 of Pocket Express features a new “Tuxedo” interface that offers faster access to all services from the Pocket Express “PageOne.
