Guest nickcornaglia Posted September 30, 2005 Report Posted September 30, 2005 I havnt downloaded the trial but how does this actually turn on the phone? I was under the impression that when the phone is off....it's truely off. Or is it just "suspending" the phone? Or is this just turning the radio off? After reading what I just typed, I am assuming it is turning the radio off...is that true? :o

I think it's the radio off feature :(
Guest b0bby Posted October 1, 2005 Report Posted October 1, 2005 (edited) lol yeh it just enters like flight mode with backlight off etc. pretty lame actually you cant say the phones off when it blatently isnt off. "false advertisement" me thinks. Its impossible to turn a smartphone on without pressing the power button. when its off its like encece said "its off" As for PDA's they dont actually turn off... without a hard reset or the battery totally going dead... soo they can sort of get away with saying PDA standby is "power off" Edited October 1, 2005 by b0bby
Guest gcparris Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Downloaded the trial and tested it. Toggled the Phone Off mode, rang my phone (SPV C500) and it still rang... errr, am I missing something or does the demo not actually work correctly? New from Slipstream Solutions... Guest algester Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I bought the product. Bit disappointed in that it does not seem to work consistently. Like the phone needs a reset each day. Often in the morning does not come out of flight mode and then cant select the app from the start program list. Phone is a iMate SP3i.
