Guest Disco Stu Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 The only options are those at the very bottom of the Settings, Sounds menu - Beep, Click or Off.
Guest cubik Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 anyway of turning off the keypad tone, BUT leaving on the tones for the numbers? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've done this via the registry. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\Keypress and rename the data of the 'Category' value (safer than deleting just in case you want to get it back i.e. rename it to 'CategoryX'). (Usual caveats about registry editing apply - i.e. if you break it... it ain't my fault)
