Anyone answer this?

I have an i-mate SP3i which like my C500 has been trouble free. However I have just discovered that I cannot access the TIME and DATE in settings. I get an error saying 'settings could not be opened '. I use a homescreen which utilizes a LCD plug which I use for accessing the alarm function. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Question: Have you only noticed this AFTER you installed your homescreen plug in? Might be a problem caused by your homescreen. If it was happening before the installation, then a hard reset might be in order. I only say this as I don't know a lot about fixing software problems. This definately sounds like a program or software problem and shouldn't be too hard to fix. I had a problem once with my calendar not working properly, and it was only after a homescreen program that I installed.

Thanks, it worked when I bought the phone a month ago as I had to use it to set the time and date and haven't had to use it since hence only just noticed it.I guess I could try uninstalling the LCD plug-in to see if that works or as you say a hard reset may be the order of the day. Thanks again for your time. :o
