smart explorer cab file

i have down loaded smart explorer put the file in my c500 start menu accessories but when i click on it it opens a list asking me wot to open it with?

i would either download the windows installer and run that, as its the easy way

or you can download the cab and copy it to /storage/windows/startup

hi owen i got the cab file on my phone but when i run it it comes up with a long list and asks me wot i want to use to open the cab file.?

tried the windows instaler and cant get that to work.

it does sound like something wrong :S

using the windows installer, you have synced the phone with the cable then ran the installer? (and activesync is working?), if you installed it without the phone being synced it will install the next time you sync the phone

if thats not workig, copy the cab file to /storage/windows/startup then reboot the phone, it will then install when the phone boots

there are some other options left open to us, but we need to check the basics first

nope phone re boots but does not install.

also tried it in a folder named to install in start menu , it still comes up with the screen open with

its as if there is some thing missing of my phone that makes the cab file run or open.

any one got any ideas on this problem??

this is wot it says on my pc when i run the installer.......

The windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are in windows safe mode, or If the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance.
