Guest frazell Posted September 30, 2005 Report Posted September 30, 2005 I have an SPV C500 which i cannot pair with the Leadtek Bluetooth GPS unit. I have searched out the info on here for deleting com port 7 and reinstating it but under the configurations menu on the phone there is no "BT Serial Port Setup" option to allow me to disable/enable any of the com ports. Does anyone know how i can get this option available within the configurations menu... my brother has this phone too and it appears on there as standard! Any help woud be appreciated. Thanks :o

Guest Confucious Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Not sure about the 5600 but I believe the C500 changed with the new ROM (4.2.1.1) and IIRC it is now under Start->Settings->Bluetooth->Bluetooth->Menu where you should have Option 2 for Com Ports I have given one C500 away and have taken the other to pieces but that's where it is on the C550. Guest Griff_FFOC Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 On the later ROMS you can: Hold the Home Key down, select option 2 (Bluetooth Setup). This opens up the bluetooth on/off/discoverable menu. Then press "Menu, 2 (Com Ports) Griff
