Massive Text on my homescreen

Hello!

I wonder if you guys & girls could help me, I have just got a new C500 from Orange after my last one broke!

Whenever I try to change the homescreen the text on the screen goes huge, all you can see on the screen is the top quater of the 'o' in orange and its does not matter which homescreen you download and install it still come up with the same problem.

I have installed homescreens many times and never come accross this prob, if anyone could help me I would be really grateful, I am getting annoyed with the standard Windows one (which work fine btw)

Have a look in Settings, Accessibility and see if System Font is set to normal.

I appreciate this doesn't sound like a logical solution but it's all I could think of ! :o

Does this happen to every homescreen u install or just to some of them ? You can try to modify in the .xml file of the homecreen the value for font size in the operator field to see if it helps.

Hi i did have a look at the xml and everything seemed fine, but it does it with every homescreen i install, downloaded the same file and put it on my mates c500 and it worked fine on his but not on mine!

Now it is getting more weird if it worked for someone else and not for u .Could u please take a screenshot of your screen and a link to the file that u use so i can try to help u ?Thank u! :o

Hi again, thanks for all the replies, well the plot thickens because I have just had a new C500 from Orange (and the gave me a silver one instead of a black one!) because the joystick broke on my old one, tried some homescreens on my brand new C500 and some have worked and others have not and once again I have had the same problem with massive text, I will take a screen shot when i get home to show you as its an unusual problem.

I have checked the XML again and I cant see any problems :D
