Guest Camafe Posted October 4, 2005 Report Posted October 4, 2005 I'm planning to by the Spb Pocket Plus, mainly for the CLOSE Program function. Is there another STABLE program for that or is better to spend the $25 ? To be honest I do not like so much to have the Today FULLLLL of icons... Thanks Carlos

Thanks Carlos <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds a bit excessive to spend $25 just to close programs down, but, you can highly customise Pocket Plus so the Today screen isn't littered with icons :o When I had installed the demo version of PP, I very very much liked the "up" icon when navigating the memory spaces with Explorer....

V1 is free but V2 is $10, very handy little program. Try www.lakeridgesoftware.com Jim

Guest 6thElement Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I use a util called vbar, can't remember where I downloaded it from but google should be able to help.
Guest ian_b Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 PocketNav (freeware) does the closing thing very nicely for me.
Guest xerxes Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 VBar - freeware Allows program close, program switch (like XP task bar) and program close all but current. It's also very very tiny, about 17kb. Works well on my Jam
Guest jaganath_sr Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 xbar - not free, but very functional!
